A Christmas Reunion by Donna Hatch Day 5 in the Christmas Countdown

Donna Hatch, author of the best-selling “Rogue Hearts Series," as well as over a dozen other published titles, is a hopeless romantic and adventurer at heart, the force that drove her to write and publish seventeen historical titles, to date. She is a multi-award winner, a sought-after workshop presenter, and juggles multiple volunteer positions as well as her six children. Also music lover, she sings and plays the harp, and she loves to ballroom dance. She and her family recently transplanted from her native Arizona to the Pacific Northwest where she and her husband of over twenty years are living proof that there really is a happily ever after.

Q & A With the Author:
Tell us about your writing - What genre do you prefer to write?
I write historical romance—specifically the Regency—that has been described as sweet but with a lots of sizzle.

What about you as a person? What do you do to relax?

I walk daily—both for exercise and because I enjoy it. I also like to hike. Music is also a big deal for me. I sing and play the harp. I also love ballroom dancing.

Snippet:

In the main dining room, a few candles guttered in their melted wax, filling the room with smoke. Her eyes smarted and watered. Blinking back the moisture, she moved toward a doorway leading to the kitchen. She kept her eyes averted from the shadowy forms in the corners of the room, hoping to avoid detection and trouble with any late-night customers of the inn.
“Are you a ghost come to haunt me?” a voice rumbled from the darkness.
She froze. Bennett. His voice had become rougher, more a growl than she remembered, but she’d recognize it anywhere.

Great Summer Countdown Day 5- See Me for Me by Teya Peck

Her most recent accomplishment started in the summer of 2015. Making her dad’s dream come true with publishing his works as well, as an emotional accomplishment. She is the 2016 local A.N.W.A. chapter (Snake River Writers) president, won NaNoWriMo and loves StoryMakers.
Teya has been writing for as long as she can remember. At a young age she lived on a street she affectionately named Hill Street Blues, which helped her creative writing. Her Family moved to Menan where she continued her love of writing. Her father would always be and will continue to be her inspiration, even after his untimely death in 2006.
She loves sitting in her soft chair next to the fireplace and watching out a big living room window. It gives her plenty of creative juice for stories.
She met the love of her life in the loft of a barn. Yep, that set up some teasing from her father. They have been happily married since 2003. They have four children and all are loving and supportive of her writing.  Her oldest daughter is following in her footsteps as a writer adding her own illustrations. She refuses to comment on the trolls in the closets and under the beds. She is active in her church, has compassion for others, and a love for all life brings.

Q&A with the Author
3- What is the thing you struggle with the most while writing? Stopping and moving. How do you defeat it? I have to set a timer and step away.
4 - What kind of music do you listen to while you write? I don't it's too much of a distraction for me. Unless I write poetry then it's classical.

One wrong step changes Jocelyn’s Prima Ballerina’s life in one step...

A single choice results in Jeremiah facing unbearable consequences...

When these two meet, it could be catastrophic or the answer to unspoken prayers.
Can love be tested too far? Will hearts soften and hurts be forgiven?
Or will too much loss be too devastating to find hope?
One thing is for sure, lives are about to change forever…

Snippet
She stretched her furthest extension ever, her personal best. She felt Jason’s hand strengthen at her waist, pushing her up to his fullest lift as his right hand let go of her leg for a moment. Pure perfection. Her heart calm and running rapid, at the same time feeling the excitement of the crowd fill the air. Closing her eyes, she readied to be tossed into the air and captured in a fish dive in Jason’s arms, but the moment never came.
