The Wedding Gift by Bella Andre writing as Lucy Kevin Review
Bella Andre is writing as Lucy Kevin for this series as this is the name she writes her 'sweet' books under, A Wedding Gift is a very well written piece about a chef named Julie Delgado that can't seem to catch a break. Her restaurant had to close after a bad review drove away customers, she gets a job at Rose Chalet, a very successful Wedding Planning Company and they only want her for temporary without the chance of staying on, and then, just to make matters worse, the very man that wrote her bad review walks in and wants to work closely with her on his sister's wedding meal.
Andrew Kyle didn't intend to close Julie's restaurant with his review but he feels every cook should cook with their heart, not just a recipe. So he was honest when he wrote his review that she did great making the food, but it was bland in the sense he could tell her heart wasn't in it.
These two get off to a rough start and have a few hiccups along the way, but they are very cute together and you are rooting for them from the start. I recommend this book and hope you pick it up.
You can get it HERE for free on Amazon.

Kavan (Drelatta Wolves Series Book One) by Kristen Clark-Frost

Ashlyn wasn't looking looking for a man. She had books, her best
friend, and a job she loved. Unless she found a man like the ones in her books,
she was happy being single. Until she met Kavan.
Working with
his family, Kavan kept the human’s safe from what lurked in the shadows. He
wasn't looking for his mate, wasn't ready to settle down. Until he found
Ashlyn.
Can Ashlyn
accept Kavan and the life he offers. Can Kavan keep Ashlyn safe from the
monsters hunting her?

Paranormal romance author, Kristen Clark-Frost,
A die hard metalhead, you’ll find her at her computer,
headphones blasting, while pounding away at the keyboard.
Her cat, who believes he’s trans species
and really a vicious canine, sleeping by her side.
An avid reader with a voracious appetite for the written word,
Kristen made a bold move and changed careers to chase her dream;
creating spectacular new worlds for others to enjoy.
Previously working and advocating for children and adults
with developmental disabilities,
Kristen spent many hours introducing others
to the power and magic of the written word.
When opportunity arose, she dove headfirst into writing full time.
Kavan is the first book in the Drelatta Wolves Series.

4 of 5 stars
Kristen Clark-Frost is a new author to me. Her blurb for Kavan intrigued me, and it does help that I love paranormal romance books.
Kavan is an interesting book, it catches your attention rather quick. Kavan isn't looking for his mate, he is interested in just living for a while and one day she enters his life anyway.
Ashlyn isn't looking for love either, she is happy with her book-boyfriends, her best friend and a job she really enjoys. So she gets thrown for a loop when she feels such a strong feelings for Kavan.
The plot is well written and keeps a steady pace as the book goes along. The character development makes the characters almost real to a reader. You want to see what they are going to do next.
With a different twist on their relationship, paranormal romance and (my favorite) sarcasm thrown in you will be happy to read this book.

Goodnight Kisses by Welhalmina Stolen
Come Join us as we celebrate Author Wilhelmina Stolen's newest book!
Fearing she carries her mother’s curse of marriage, nineteen-year-old Eleanor Mackenna swore never to vow herself into matrimonial bondage. Nuptials aren’t needed where true love is concerned. A concept she is sure a man like McCrea Coldiron would agree with. The town gossip has him pegged as a heart breaker, but Eleanor knows a different side to McCrea. And years of loving him without seeing his affection returned has made her desperate enough to ask him for advice on seducing a man.
McCrea isn’t proud of his reputation as a brawler and a womanizer. As a teenager the rumors were funny, now they may cost him the land he has worked so hard for. Chatty little Eleanor Mackenna has been chasing his spurs for years and ignoring her was easy to do until she grew up. A beautiful face and curves in all the right places made her hard to resist, and when his granddad lays down an ultimatum to make her his wife, McCrea offers her a first class lesson in seduction.

Wilhelmina Stolen is a native of Kentucky and makes her home in a small southern town close to the Tennessee line. During her adolescence, her mother's free spirited nature became restless causing the family to embark on a slew of adventurous moves across the country. The moves provoked a hunger for adventure and romance and introduced her to a wonderful world of history and beauty.
As with most writers, her stories began at an early age with long sessions of seclusion and secrecy. While her classmates and friends were outside playing, Shannon was locked away in her room hammering out ideas on an old 1940's Royal typewriter.
After finding Mr. Right, Shannon found herself wanting the comfort and security of the small Kentucky town she longed to escape as a child. Fortune smiled upon her and she became the family historian; gathering pictures, wills, marriage certificates and everything else that somehow managed to fall into her lap. Stories flooded her mind and writing quickly became an obsession that turned into the Way of Hearts Saga.

I received this book for an honest review.
While growing up the people we love are our examples of what relationships should be. So when Eleanore grew up watching her mother in failed marriage , she felt she would go through the same thing. So she decided she could have love but the big 'I Do' was not for her.
McCrea is called a womanizer and as an adult, he hates the reputation. He wants people to see the man he is not the troublemaker he was.
Eleanore has crushed on McCrea since they were kids and he easily brushed it off...but now she is a beautiful woman any man would be dead not to want. And when his granddad tells him to marry or lose the land he was to inherit, he decides to make an arrangement with Eleanore.
Marry for a year and then they divorce, going their separate ways and he would pay her a good price.
Eleanore, hurt that her crush wants to use her, says no and leaves for college heartbroken. McCrea doesn't understand what he did wrong. Will he get his head out of his ass and chase her? Or be a moron forever?
This book was well written. The troupe is an oldie, but a goodie and I really enjoyed my time getting lost in the story. Following these two as they learn more about theirselves and each other is a great experience. The development is detailed, but doesn't bog down the read.

The Three Stones of Bethany by April Marcom Blog Tour
The kingdom of Bethany was once a beautiful place made up of five magical nations, each with their own special gifts. It all changed in a day, however, when the murderous dredgelings arrived. No one quite knows where they came from or how they keep multiplying, no matter how many are killed in the long, cruel war they’ve waged. All seems to be lost, until a human girl named Taylor is mistakenly transported to Bethany. Kane, the king over these nations, despises her whole-heartedly at first, and then she makes him laugh for the first time since the devastation began years ago. And the earthling manages to find new ways to surprise him with her valor and loyalty every single day. Unfortunately, Taylor’s only wish through their dangerous quest to reunite three magical stones and save the kingdom, aside from surviving this fearful place, is to return home.
But as fate goes, she soon discovers the only way to recapture the stones and save the lives of the royals she’s come to love as her first real family is to give up any hope of ever returning to her old life. In the end it all comes down to what sort of hero she truly is, one to her own self, or one to entire nations.

I give 4 of 5 stars
I received this book as an ARC, I requested to review it because the information given captured my attention. I can be picky about my books, but as an author I'm allowed. But when I started reading The Three Stones of Bethany, I was captivated. The characters are very well developed and the world April created for them, makes the reading experience even better. I enjoy when a book leaves me wanting more, but not mad that there wasn't more. The plot was developed and explained flawlessly throughout the book, keeping the reader in the loop, and by the end I was satisfied with the story that was told. Yes, I would love to read another, but I not mad it ended because it finished in a good spot. I expect great things from April.
