Blue Moon by Lisa Kessler Blog Tour

Interview:

What is your favorite part of writing a book? -
I have a few... I love the beginning. It's like being infatuated every time. I meet new characters and learn what makes them tick. But I also love writing that first kiss. They're always completely different, but they're also usually a big turning point. And finally I really love the rush for the end. Once I get to the last 20,000 words of a book, I get obsessed. I'm so close to the ending and I need to know what's going to happen next.

Who is your favorite author?
Ack! I can't pick just one so here are a few.... Kelley Armstrong, Patricia Briggs, Anne Rice, Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Jeri Smith-Ready just to name a few! :)

Who is your favorite characters you've created?
Oh I don't have a favorite... That's like picking your favorite child! LOL Yikes!

Anything about this book that was harder to write than your others? -
I knew I was going to have to write Logan's songs for this book and I dreaded it because I'm not much of a poet, but then when I wrote the book, I could almost hear him singing in my head and the songs were just there. I copied down the lyrics I heard him sing. It was magic!

Do you have any up coming releases, book signings or events? -
My next release is coming up August 1st and I'm really excited because it's a brand new series for me called The Muse Chronicles. Book 1 is Lure of Obsession.

Blurb:She’s his muse, his mate, and she’s completely offlimits. He’s a jerk, a recluse, and her newest assignment. Until he broke her heart, Vivianna Lopez loved Logan Reynolds. Five years later, she’s an aspiring music journalist and he’s the camerashy lead singer of Logan and the Howlers. Armed with a backstage pass, Vivi’s back in her hometown of Reno, nestled in the shadows of the Sierra Nevada mountains. She must score an interview with Logan to land her dream job otherwise it’s back to Boston, with no scoop and no job. It’s just business–at least that’s what she keeps telling herself. Logan still loves Vivi, his soul mate, but there’s something even she doesn’t know about him: He turns into a werewolf every full moon and a secret organization is hunting down his Pack. Vivi may not have Logan’s senses, but she can sniff out that he’s hiding something. He knows it’s only a matter of time before the truth about him and his Pack is revealed. And then he really will lose her.

My Review
4 of 5 stars
I received an ARC of Blue Moon through NetGalley.
Blue Moon is an action packed romance about a second chance at love.
Viviana and Logan were childhood sweethearts, then he did the worst by standing her up at prom.....then didn't talk to her again.
He had a secret he didn't feel he could tell her, so he left to pursue his music. But as much as he is in the public eye. he keeps him life private. He can't let them know he is a Werewolf, it would put his pack in danger.
Viviana is trying to get in with the Rolling Stones. It's important to her. She is sentenced to get an interview with the very man that use to be her sweetheart....Logan. The thing is, he doesn't do interviews. So she finds an alternative, a dangerous story about Government Defense Contracts. Viviana is in danger. Will Logan come to his senses and save her?
